The emergence of rave culture into the mainstream: helpful or harmful to the community?

This article centres on the emergence of rave culture/ the modern rave scene into mainstream British society. I aim to establish whether this is a result of social media, and examine how modern trend cycles impact the survival of subcultures such as the rave scene which encompasses house music and drum n bass amongst other genres; does it have more of a negative or positive impact on the culture?
