How useful are the security guards at raves?

This article draws on my own encounters with security procedures at music events, as well as by the recent stabbing of a young man at a nightclub in Birmingham in December 2022. I aim to examine the impact of security teams at nightclubs and rave events, and assess if they are more of a hindrance than of help to clubbers and ravers alike.
